You guys are seriously SO expected...
1) Sports figure - you all put David Beckham. and sure, he is hot...but come on- Andy Roddick anyone? I know we don't watch sports, but let's try and branch out.
2)Entertainer - is Tina Fey really that great? Kathy Griffin, we get it, Britney Spears, etc. We're al just so TYPICAL. Hence why we always get the "best gay friend" role. I'll be truly gay here though and give some support to someone everyone's forgetting-
Chelsea Handler.
3) LGBT Hero - what has Ellen DeGeneres really done? What kind of crusader is she? I think Lance Bass spends a lot of time trying to out the world. Do we need a hero??
4) Political figure - Obama is big this year, no?
5) Villain - The MTA. They're getting rid of the W.
6) Gay icon - Whoever it is- I probably can't stand them. Christian Siriano maybe? He's pretty typically gay. I'd consider him sexless, undatable and practically a mutant. He can represent everything I would never wanna be.
7) Best Dressed Person - Any gay guy who ain't in skinny jeans, a gaping cleavage t-shirt, a vest, pointy toed shoes, thick framed glasses, rosary beads and a posh spice hair do in 2008 probably has my vote.
8) Best Movie - I think every movie this year managed to be gigantic disappointments.
9)Best TV Show - Absolutely no contest- TRUE. BLOOD. Although Weeds and Mad Men did very well.
10) Best Song - Everything- Michael Buble. "You're the greatest song...and I sing along...you're everything."
11) Moment of the year - Sometime early in the summer I had a wild weekend in Fire Island. That was pretty cool.
