About Hot Topics

We're here and we're queer, but let's be straight about one fact - mainstream America thinks the only issue we care about is same-sex marriage. If you find that as frustrating as we do, we hope you'll get addicted to Gay.com's Hot Topics, a new blog dedicated to not just news, politics and current events, but to each and every topic burning in the minds of the G&L community.

Our tagline says it all: "Hot Topics -- where anyone has the potential making anything a Hot Topic."  And it's true.  Sure, we'll be writing about all the hot issues in the current media, but we'll also write about issues and topics that nobody is talking about.  Yet.

Getting back to same-sex marriage - of course it's an issue we all care about.  But Gay.com's Hot Topics is our opportunity to show mainstream America that we're also deeply interested in non-gay issues that affect us simply as human beings.
