About the Writers

Botox_2 Jenny Stewart is the award-winning Editorial Director at Gay.com and PlanetOut.com. She has been named one of Curve Magazine's 10 most powerful lesbians in music and POWER UP's 10 Amazing Gay Women in Hollywood.

"When trying to reach a large audience about LGBT media representations and issues of defamation, coverage by Jenny Stewart is not only essential but absolutely crucial,” says Damon Romine, Entertainment Media Director, GLAAD.

In 2008, Stewart’s groundbreaking column focusing on Howard Stern’s positive impact on the G&L community continues to be picked up by countless media outlets, and was discussed several times on the Stern's Sirius/XM radio show.

An industry insider, Stewart has interviewed numerous celebrities, including Tina Fey, Susan Sarandon, Janet Jackson, Stephen Colbert, Moby, Debbie Harry, Belinda Carlisle, Maureen McCormick (AKA Marcia Brady), Kim Deal, Cloris Leachman and dozens of others.  Her compelling interviews are picked up by mainstream press on a regular basis, and her 2009 interview with Linda Ronstadt is being praised as one of the legendary singers best.

Clarke Hamlin has been watching TV since before he was born, was raised on Salisbury Steak and Apple Cobbler TV dinners, and the way the Hamlin family tells it, taught himself to read watching "Jeopardy".

All-time favorites include "Seinfeld," "Happy Days," "SNL," "Charlie's Angels," and "Puttin' on the Hits."
Current faves: "Top Chef," "The Office," "The Colbert Report," "30 Rock," "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style," "Lost" and Rock of "Love." See all posts by Clarke Hamlin.

Graham Dunstan is a freelance writer and Gay.com contributor who works in the nonprofit arts in Washington D.C. He holds a graduate degree in writing from the University of Alaska Anchorage and has garnered a number of awards for his work. An Atlanta native, Graham dreams of the day "Thirtysomething" is released on DVD so he can place it on the mantle in its rightful place--next to his other all-time favorite show, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Mark Doherty is a college student by day; TV blogger by night. He's currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Communications, and hopes to start a career in writing (and acting) after his June 2008 graduation. He and his boyfriend (an aspiring actor) live in Los Angeles and are too ashamed to admit how much TV they watch.
